A boutique hotel, a meeting space, a cafe and an outdoor outfitter can all be found within this unique building located just a few feet from Lake Superior.  With its close proximity to (and spectacular views of) Chequamegon Bay, this ship-like building gives the feeling of being out on the water.  In 2016, the Structural Insulated Panel Association (SIPA) named Blue Wave on the Bay the best commercial building under 10,000 square feet in the utilization of structural insulated panels and in the overall competition, with buildings of all types and sizes, was named the national runner-up.
